Roberta spinner in action
Updated: Sep 28
The Roberta is an electric spinner: a small motor turns the flyer, so there's no treadle to pedal and you can spin at a table, on the couch or on the road. It's a practical way to sample a fleece before you commit to a large batch, and a gentle introduction for anyone learning to spin.
In the video you can see how steadily it draws the fibre in. The speed stays even, which leaves your hands free to focus on drafting.
We carry the Roberta along with bobbins, drive bands and a maintenance kit. See the Roberta spinner and supplies.
